Translate the theme

Lumevia's own wording, the words that aren't part of your products or pages, such as Add to cart, Sold out or Your cart is empty, can be changed and translated without code.

Change the theme's wording

1. In the Shopify admin, go to Online Store.
2. Open Lumevia's ⋯ menu and choose Edit default theme content.
3. Search for the words you want to change, such as add to cart, and type your own.
4. Click Save.

Your wording replaces Lumevia's in the store's default language, and it is kept when you update Lumevia.

Languages included

Lumevia's wording comes ready in seven languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Dutch.

When you publish one of these languages in Settings → Languages, customers who choose it see Lumevia's wording in that language straight away.

Other languages, and your own content

For any other language, and for your own content, such as product descriptions, pages and the text you type into sections, use Shopify's free Translate & Adapt app. It translates by hand or automatically, and covers the theme's wording too.
